A SMILE

Scripture Reading - Proverbs 15:13

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. KJV

The best way to dress up your face is to put on a sincere smile. "A Smile" is an inexpensive way to improve your looks, the Lord knows we could all stand to enhance our looks. The reference verse shows us that our expression is a reflection of our heart. What that means specifically is that your spirit and soul combined make up the reflection of your heart. Angela and I say that because all Christians possess a brand new spirit that has the deposit of the Holy Ghost inside. However, if you are not thinking on the good things of God it is very possible that you can be down and out about a current situation. This sadness of heart (spirit and soul) will show up on your face to greet other people. They will think that you need ministry instead receiving ministry from you. On the contrary, your new inner man with the joy of the Lord flowing through it when your soul is fixed on God’s goodness will minister that same joy to all who can receive from you. This fruit of joy is your strength and your bright light unto other people. Therefore let everyone know around you that you are saved and happy about what Jesus did for you by the display of a bright beautiful smile. You do not have to fake what is residing in your heart in abundance all you have to do is let it out to others. Remember, a heart felt smile cost us so little to show our gratitude for what cost Jesus so much. The true Believer walking in God’s love considers the person who may need their smile today before they consider what they feel like in the natural. Shine your light to all around you knowing the greater the smile the brighter the intensity of Jesus. Amen!
